English basics grammar :-
If you started learning English , first of all you need to know the basic rules of the languages . English grammar is not only used to make sentences but we can also make our own sentence structure while speaking or writing.
Kinds of sentences:-
There are four kinds of sentences
1. Assertive sentence
2. Interrogative sentence
3. Exclamatory sentence
4. Imperative sentence
1.assertive sentence : ( s+v+o)
This kind of sentence begins with a noun or pronoun and ends with the full stop.
Affirmative sentence
Ex. – 1. Ram eats mango.
2 . He is poor.
Negative sentence
Ex.- 1. I have no money.
2. They don’t know the answer.
2.interrogative sentence:
There are two kinds of the interrogative sentence.
a. Wh question:- These kind of sentence begins with ‘wh’ word and ends with question mark.
What,who,why,where,when,whose,how
Which.
Ex.-1. Who went to the market?
2. Where did I sit?
b. Verbal/ yes,No question:- These kind of sentence begins with helping verbs and ends with question mark.
H.v.- (am,is,are,was,were,have,has,had,shall,will)
(Should, would,can, could,may,might,must,
Do,does,did)
Ex.-1. Are you happy in nipani?
2. Can you speak English?
3.Exclamatory sentence:
This kind of sentence begins with what, a/an or how and ends with exclamatory mark.
Ex.-1.How beautiful they are!
2. How wonderful it looks!
3. What a good friend he is!
4.imperative sentence:
This kind of sentence begins with v1 and ends with full stop.
Ex.- 1.keep quiet.
2.write a story.
3. Give me your book.
Make it assertive:-
*exclamatory sentence_> assertive sentence
Exclamatory sentence into assertive sentence:-
Noun/pronoun+H.v.+very/a very+A
Ex.1.How Beautiful it is!
It is very beautiful.
2.How tall Ramesh is!
Ramesh is very tall.
Remove too:-
Use so ……that…..not
Rules:-1. Too- so
2. to-that
3.pronoun
4. Can not- am,is,are
Could not – was,were.
1.Rohan is too poor to buy new books.
Rohan is so poor that he cannot buy new books.
2.She was too proud to take money.
She was so proud that could not to take money.
3.It was very cold we could not go out.
It was so cold that we could not go out.
*Tense:-
Present Tense:-
1.simple present tense:-
S+v1(s,es)+o
He,she,it- s,es
a. I eat a mango.
b. We play cricket.
S+v1+(s,es)+o
Negative sentence
a.I don’t eat mango.
b.He doesn’t drink water.
Present continuous tense:-
This Tense is used to describe an action or event that is happening in front of us.
S+ am,is,are+v4+o
Ex. I am eating a mango.
You are writing a story.
Negative sentence
Ex.I am not eating a mango.
you are not writing a story.
Present perfect tense:-
This Pains is used to describe an action or event that has already happened in front of us.
S+have/has+v3+o
Ex. I have eaten a mango.
You have gone to school.
Past tense:-
Simple past tense:-
This Tense is used to refer to simple events that happened in the past.
S+v2+o
Ex. I ate a mango.
We played cricket.
Past continuous tense:-
This tense is used to describe an action or event that is ongoing or happening in the past.
S+was/ were+v4+o
Ex. I was eating a mango.
We were playing cricket.
Negative sentence:
I was not eating a mango.
We are not playing cricket.
Past perfect tense:-
This Tense is used to describe an action or event that happened and was completed in the past tense.
S+had+v3+o
Ex. I had eaten a mango.
We had played cricket.
Negative sentence
I had not eaten a mango.
We had not played cricket.
